Zafirov in Montana: No Bulgarian should feel abandoned and no region forgotten - 1

„ It is important not only for our unification, but also for the whole of Bulgaria that the left has a strong group in the future parliament, so that we can protect the weak, the people in a disadvantaged position. This was stated by the chairman of the BSP during a meeting with citizens in Montana – UNITED LEFT Atanas Zafirov. He emphasized that this applies with particular force to Northwestern Bulgaria, one of the poorest regions in Europe. According to him, no Bulgarian should feel abandoned and no area should be forgotten.
He emphasized that the ambition of the union is to create a National Fund for rapprochement between the regions, aimed at the lagging regions, which will work as a priority for North-West Bulgaria, the Rhodopes and Strandzha-Sakar. According to him, the region needs investments, promotion of the creation of jobs, development of agriculture. “We want to help these places to be attractive again for both business and young people, who will stay in their hometowns”, Zafirov said categorically.
Zafirov emphasized that sociological surveys show an increase in support in BSP – UNITED LEFT, which already reaches 9.6%. “We must mobilize and meet as many people as possible in the last few days and present our solutions to them,” said the socialist. The chairman of the association emphasized that Montana needs a strong social defender in the next parliament, such as the leader of the BSP – UNITED LEFT Maria Kamenova. He stated that she was a role model for her peers – a socially engaged, educated young person who cares about his native region and fights to improve the lives of people there.
The chairman of “Stand Up Bulgaria” Maya Manolova also supported Maria Kamenova and the list of the unification in the district. She explained that the bought vote is taking on scary proportions in these elections, especially in areas like Montana. “We have to go out on October 27 and face fear. The weight of each purchased vote will depend on the number of votes cast with a pure heart. Don't let someone else decide for you“, urged Manolova.
Maria Kamenova stated that it is time for the left in the Montana region to regain its representation in the National Assembly. “Support us, Give me hope that with ideas, goals and a good program, we may have representation in the next parliament,” urged the leader of the list in the district. She was categorical that the left is not outdated, the left is necessary and more and more young people are recognizing it.
