Third samples of the animals in Velingrad will be sent in a certified laboratory in Montpellier, France, BNT reported. This was stated by the livestock breeders after a meeting with the Acting Minister of Agriculture, Georgi Tahov.
At this stage, the sheep from the three flocks in Velingrad will remain under quarantine, reported one of the breeders, Dimitar Iliev. He and his family have officially distanced themselves from the protests in front of Minister Takhov's home that are taking place tonight.
“Protests in front of the minister's home will not solve things. As my father is worried, so is his. We have nothing to do with the protesters there. Not this way. Things should not be done this way, Dimitar Iliev also stated.
Talks between the state and farmers will continue.
