Good healthcare, no violence against women and working with children. These are some of the priorities that the candidate for ombudsman Dzhema Grozdanova has set for herself. According to her, our country is not functioning well at the moment.
I would submit the Law on Foreign Agents to the Constitutional Court if it were adopted. The other is the Law on School and Preschool Education. The right of the teacher to express his opinion calmly in front of his students is being violated, she said on Nova News.
Is the government sustainable?
„No. It can collapse at any moment, when it decides. The strong parties in the government, especially the GERB group, can solve it,” Grozdanova believes.
According to her, there is no clear opposition in parliament and this is a problem.
„I expect support from all members of parliament, who would choose based on quality and experience. The Ombudsman should be able to work with anyone. I have sent a letter to all parliamentary groups. I have held a formal meeting with the PP-DB. There is time until the election,” she added.
And she added that the figure of the Ombudsman is not a panacea and cannot solve all issues, especially with consumer rights.
When asked if she supports the idea of having grocery stores in post offices, she said the following:
„Nothing has been analyzed or prepared for them. This was a test by “DPS - New Beginning” whether the hall would support any of their proposals, without it being argued and analyzed. This test was successful for them and I think that from now on they may try other things” .
