President Rumen Radev commented on the case of the deceased Siyana and the protests to stop the war on the roads. The head of state expressed condolences to the family of the 12-year-old girl.
"Bulgaria is blackened again. And unfortunately, children also fall victim to the roads for one main reason, and that is negligence, caused by impunity. The roads are in poor condition, we have no highways, because even when it is revealed that the money for them was taken out in sacks or the samples taken from the roads show blatant robbery, there are no consequences.
This is really the biggest problem. And now they convince us that this arbitrariness must be tolerated because there must be stability in order for the euro to be introduced. But if we do not introduce true rule of law, the only difference after our transition to the European currency will be that those who stole our levs will now steal from us in euros. And their real goal is not the introduction of the euro, but the preservation of Pepi the Euro," commented the head of state.
