The Speaker of the National Assembly also commented on the measures taken by the state for road safety. "People have the right to be angry that the war on the roads does not stop. Unfortunately, changes to the law alone will not do it. The regional minister is taking serious measures, but this is not within the competence of a single minister," Kiselova emphasized.
She recalled that six bills were adopted last week. The Committee on Transport and Communications is about to prepare a summarized draft in order to assess whether there is a need for further changes in the laws.
Regarding the requested resignation of the head of the RIA, Kiselova was categorical that "resignations are the easiest solution". "It is more difficult for everyone to harness their strength to improve the situation. He does not do the repairs himself. The repairs are done by the builders," she emphasized.
