In the Youth DPS I see the real tool for overcoming this crisis, says the honorary chairman of “Democracy, Rights and Freedoms“ – DPS (DPS-DPS) Ahmed Dogan at his meeting with the Youth DPS on April 12, as can be seen from a video published on the party's Facebook page – DPS Press Center. According to Dogan, exactly how this will happen would become clear in “the following days or weeks“.
The footage shows Ahmed Dogan receiving the representatives of the Youth DPS in the property in the capital's “Boyana“ district, which has become known as his “Sarai“. In the six-minute video, the honorary chairman addresses the youth and analyzes the situation in the country. He tells them that he sees this structure as the “new party”, both in the leadership and in personnel policy, public life, social networks and the media.
“We must create conditions for you, at least that is how I understand our role, as a veteran, so to speak. You must develop. Only then will I have the self-confidence to say that we have created conditions for your development. I do not see a more important role than this. You are the future, colleagues, you are our tomorrow“, Ahmed Dogan also points out.
He points out as a serious mistake of the MRF the broken contact with the people. The relationship is faltering, to put it most modestly, Dogan adds and advises: “Learn to maintain this enormous force – the living connection with the voters, with knowledge of their problems, with setting models for solving their problems. In fact, this is how you will develop. If we lose this connection, we become a corporate party“.
On April 12, the Youth MRF announced that they had been taken out by police from Ahmed Dogan's home in the capital's "Boyana" district. In a video posted on the Facebook page MRF Press Center, Valentin Tonchev from MRF-DPS spoke to journalists and said that they had been invited by Dogan to the property to hold a National Council of the Youth MRF.
When we entered completely undisturbed into Mr. Dogan's home, where he himself invited us, we saw that everything had been stolen, broken and gutted. We reported to the police to come immediately to make an inventory of the stolen, ruined and destroyed property, but to our surprise we received a group of about 400 police and gendarmes who came to the home and started pushing us and telling us: “Outside the building, we received an anonymous signal on tel. 112 from a person who introduced himself as the owner of the property and said that you illegally entered the property“, Tonchev explained.
For his part, in a letter to the media, Danail Papazov, representing the company “Delta Epsilon“ EAD, which owns the property, announced that Ahmed Dogan and a group of his political supporters had invaded a private property in Sofia on “Star Belovodski Pat“ Str., overcoming the security of the site. “I consider such an illegal entry into someone else's property – property of the company I represent “Delta Epsilon“ EAD, as extremely unacceptable and violating the laws of the country. Ahmed Dogan and the group of persons who broke into the property have no legal basis to enter and reside in it. This action creates a danger of damage and looting of the property of the company located in the property and unprecedentedly violates its right to property“, Papazov's position states.
The Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs (SDVR) explained that they had fulfilled their obligations under the law after reports about a property on “Star Belovodski pat” Str. They informed that officers of the Sofia police responded to two reports on the 112 telephone number. The first was filed by a political party, and the second - by the owner of the property. The SDVR officers acted in accordance with their obligations and powers under the Ministry of Internal Affairs Act and teams were immediately sent to the address to ensure public order. Subsequently, at the request of the property owner, the electricity distribution company cut off the electricity supply to the address. The police found a large number of weapons in the house that were not stored in accordance with the legally established procedure. For security purposes, the police removed those present. The officers fulfilled their duties under the law without exceeding their powers. No auxiliary means or disproportionate physical force were used. Three were detained for failure to comply with police orders.
Two pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case, the Ministry of Interior announced. One is related to the eight firearms found in the building, including a "Kalashnikov" - AK-47 assault rifle, the collected materials have been reported to the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office. The second pre-trial proceedings, for which an investigative case has also been initiated, is for arbitrariness, the collected materials have been reported to the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office.
We will notify absolutely all competent authorities about the actions of the police officers in "Boyana", we want answers to the question of whether the police leadership ordered these aggressive actions or whether the regulations came from the political and professional leadership of the ministry, said the chairman of the Parliamentary Group of"Democracy, Rights and Freedoms" - MRF Dzhevdet Chakarov to journalists in a statement he gave together with representatives of the youth organization and deputies in front of the MRF headquarters in Sofia on April 13. He said that they expect an answer from the Minister of Interior on how the entire action took place.
