Three men from Petrich have been arrested for stealing over 17,000 meters of electrical cable from photovoltaic power plants, the press center of the Ministry of Interior's Regional Office - Blagoevgrad reports.
According to police officers, the theft was committed within two months - from February 21 to April 10. The photovoltaic power plants from which the electrical cable was stolen are located in the "Gloko" area in Petrich, the police specify. The detainees are 19, 29 and 52 years old. The prosecutor's office has been notified of the case and pre-trial proceedings have been initiated. The value of the damage caused is in the process of being established.
The actions to identify the perpetrators were carried out jointly with the regional directorates in Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo and Targovishte.
