Germany defeated Italy as a guest 2-1 in the first playoff 1/4-final match of the Nations League tournament, FOCUS reported.

In Milan, the Bundesteam achieved success after a turnaround in the second half, after trailing 0-1 at halftime.

With a goal by Sandro Tonali in the 9th minute, his second for the Italian national team, "squadra azzurra" pulled in the result.

During the first half, the hosts tactically left possession of the ball to the Bundesteam, managing to reach the more dangerous goal chances, one of which Tonali converted.
