Iskra Mihaylova to FACT: According to the negotiators, there is more than a 50% chance of forming a cabinet (VIDEO) - 1

There is no way to show activity in the National Assembly right now, because for several days now, intensive negotiations have been underway to form a government between GERB and the groups of ITN, BSP and “Democratic Bulgaria“. Given that these talks are taking place, it is normal for there to be a lull if such a government is going to be formed. According to the negotiators, there is more than a 50% chance of forming a cabinet. So they want to chart their path forward together and in a coordinated manner. There is also a misunderstanding between these former and future partners from the “assembly“, because the talks are more or less in the same form. She announced this to Lili Marinkova in the “FACT“ studio and the show “Conversation“ Iskra Mihaylova, MP from “Vazrazhdane“.

“It is normal for them to even oppose each other and block the process of work in the National Assembly. This is what is happening right now. The hands of one or another political organization are being twisted“, she added.

“Boyko Borisov said a few months ago that he would support such an agreement with Ukraine, and now - given the talks he is leading and the position of one of the future coalition partners, he says that he already thinks differently and it needs to be discussed. You see how delicate the moment is. This is the reason why the National Assembly is not functioning. I highly doubt that we would produce any logical and justified decisions even if we did not have a vacation. The budget is important and I hope its extension will be voted on“, added Mihaylova.
