The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed new sanctions decisions of the National Security and Defense Council against persons who ensure the work of Russian aviation.

The package of sanctions includes almost 150 entities - legal entities and individuals that ensure the operation of the Russian aviation infrastructure.

In addition, the president noted, another package of sanctions has been introduced against collaborators - "those who have chosen to work for evil - for war".

He emphasized that the task of all representatives of Ukraine is to do everything possible to synchronize the Ukrainian sanctions with the global ones.

Zelensky also noted that Ukraine is working to ensure that as many Russian military facilities, Russian logistics and critical facilities of their military economy as possible are within the reach of our weapons.

He noted that Ukraine continues to convince its partners that "long range is the key to ending this war".

"With our drones and missiles, we are capable of accomplishing some of the tasks, but real peace, a real end to this war is a complex task, and to force Russia to peace so that they move from false rhetoric to negotiating for to end the war, to clear our land from the occupation and the occupiers, we also need effective tools," he stressed.

The president stressed that not a single Russian missile, not a single Russian strike should go without a just response - a response with weapons, sanctions, correct policy and economic support for Ukraine, and a response of justice against Russia.

He recalled today's Russian attack on Kharkiv, in which nearly 50 people were injured.

"Every such strike on Kharkiv, on other of our cities and villages proves the correctness of our tactics, especially in the Kursk region - we must push the war home, from where it was transferred to Ukraine, and not only in the border areas of Russia must feel that this is a war," the president stressed.

It is reported that a shopping center, a sports complex, shops, cars were damaged, and there was also damage to the gas pipeline structure.

According to the mayor of the city of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, as of 5:38 p.m., 44 injured persons are known. The mayor added that there are seven children among them, the youngest being only three months old.
