Toyota is preparing to put into mass production a new electric car, the model name of which will be bZ3C. The innovation will be put on sale from the beginning of 2025. Details of the model were revealed on the CarNewsChina website.
The Toyota bZ3C youth electric crossover was unveiled as a concept at the Beijing Auto Show in the spring, but no details were revealed. Production of the model will be established in the joint venture FAW-Toyota and will be in China.
The design of the Toyota bZ3C is sustained in the new characteristic style of the Japanese brand - with a pronounced "nose" and thin LED headlights and taillights. The car is a coupe-crossover and is distinguished by a sharp silhouette with a curved and sloping roof at the rear.
Toyota bZ3C 2025 has dimensions:
length - 4780 mm;
width - 1866 mm;
height - 1510 mm;
wheelbase - 2880 mm;
mass - 1920 kg.
In the interior of the front panel, a narrow digital instrument panel and a large 15.6-inch touchscreen are installed. The trunk volume of the crossover is 463 liters. Equipment will include a parking pilot and a semi-autonomous driving system.
Like all Toyota bZ electric cars, the new crossover is built on the e-TNGA platform. It will be equipped with an engine with a capacity of 272 horsepower, and the maximum speed will be limited to 160 km/h. There will be a choice between two batteries, which will be from BYD: depending on the version, the range will be 550 or 630 km.
