Tesla topped the list of brands whose used car values are falling the most on an annual basis. In particular, the brand's flagship sedan, the Model S, is losing about $ 10,000 in value every year.
The iSeeCars experts analyzed 1.4 million used cars aged one to five years old, sold in March 2024 and 2025. As a result, they found that the Tesla brand dominates the list of cars whose values are falling the most.
The Model 3 sedan and the Model Y crossover also make the top ten, while the Model S takes first place in the ranking, losing 17.2% of its value from March 2024 to March 2025. That's almost $10,000 a year.
At the same time, the price of the Model 3 is decreasing by 10.9% - $3,193, and the Model Y - by 13.1% - $4,634 each year. Overall, electric vehicles make up half of the top 10 cars on the list, with the three Tesla models joined by the Porsche Taycan and Hyundai Kona Electric.

Other cars in the top ten are the hybrid Ford Explorer and BMW 5 Series, as well as the Maserati Levante, Mercedes-Benz AMG GT and Jeep Gladiator. iSeeCars experts also identified the brands with the biggest decline in the value of their used cars, with Tesla also in first place. Chrysler ranks second with an 8.9% price drop, and Maserati - third with 8.6% for the year.
