In the summer, the national air carrier resumes its codeshare partnership with the French company Air France and the Dutch carrier KLM. The cooperation, which brings a number of benefits to European passengers, is in the form of an interline agreement to exchange codes on flights operated by “Bulgaria Air”.
The partnership and code sharing between “Bulgaria Air“ and the Air France / KLM merger is valid for the Sofia - Paris and Sofia - Amsterdam flights and is already available in the reservation systems, and in addition to individual reservations, it is also possible to request group trips departing from France or Bulgaria. As a result of the partnership agreement, the trips of our compatriots to Nice, Lyon and Bordeaux can be issued on one form with departure from Sofia or Varna. Passengers transiting through airports with a large selection of convenient transfer connections - Charles de Gaulle in Paris and Schiphol in Amsterdam - can also take advantage of codeshare to continue their journey to another destination in Europe or the world.
Within its regular direct route “Bulgaria Air“ operates daily morning flights from Sofia to Paris departing at 7:10 a.m. and arriving at 9:10 a.m. local time. The return from the French capital is also at a convenient time - 10:15 a.m., and the arrival in Sofia is at 2:00 p.m. On some days of the week, a second afternoon flight to Paris is available to travelers, with a return to Sofia late in the evening, which makes the return of our compatriots abroad for the summer period easy and convenient.
Flights from Sofia to Amsterdam are also on a daily basis, departing the capital at 7:10 a.m. and landing in Amsterdam at 9:00 a.m. local time. The modern and functional planes of the national carrier depart back to Bulgaria at 10:15 and land in Sofia at 14:00. Passengers in economy class are entitled to 10 kg of hand luggage, handbag or laptop and receive free check-in and catering on board with a warm sandwich, chocolate bar, water and refreshing drinks.
The renewal of the codeshare agreement of “Bulgaria Air” with Air France and KLM opens new opportunities for domestic and foreign passengers, who can once again take advantage of the wide network connecting flights to the whole world provided by the French and Dutch national carriers via Paris and Amsterdam.
