Viktoria Vasileva explained why she entered Velichie: They asked what and how to tell us - 1

Parties may already be starting to mature for a majoritarian electoral system. Over time, I became convinced that we Bulgarians do not seem to like sudden changes. Maybe we should suggest things that happen in small steps because we are not ready to take big leaps. This was stated on the air of BNT by independent MP Viktoria Vasileva, quoted by novini.bg.

However, she reminded that only by changing the electoral system, the final result will not change and this will not bring us stable political elites.

Regarding her decision to become part of the “Greatness” party, Vasileva admitted that she was tricked into becoming part of the project.

They just knew what and how to tell us. They pulled some specific strings in my soul and that's how they tricked me into becoming part of their project, she added.
According to her, the parties in our country fail because of the ego and unrealized ambitions of their leaders, which is detrimental to our entire political class.

Ego and unrealized ambitions once again prevailed in this parliament. This becomes a kind of regularity. I think that we need to change our mentality as people, because we failed to build any basic political culture, comments Vasileva.

She also emphasized that it is very important what kind of behavior you have in the parliament and pointed out that the MPs swear at us, and after a week they are already talking about a government, which only shows how hypocritical and unprincipled they are.
When asked what he thinks about the so-called gentlemen's agreement proposed by GERB leader Boyko Borisov, Viktoria Vasileva noted that “in order to have a gentleman's agreement, there must first be gentlemen”, and politicians in our country pretend to be friends in front of the media, but in fact they are watering each other down.
At the end of the interview for public television, Vasileva expressed hope that the processes in the DPS will be healing not only for the party, but also for our entire political system.
