Yesterday it became clear that “BSP – United Left“ will present its lists for the early parliamentary elections on October 27 by the end of the week, and they will not include Maya Manolova. She herself announced that she will not participate in the lists.
„We have to show that we are there not to settle for parliamentary seats, but for the cause of the left. Vulnerable Bulgarian citizens, ordinary people, working people, people with disabilities need a strong left-wing representation to represent and protect them, she also commented.
According to her, the leaders on the left are the chairmen of the 14 parties that are part of the new left unification.
"BSP is coming out of the post-traumatic shock after Cornelia Ninova. Thank God that they came out of hypnosis," noted Manolova.
"Ultimately, who will be on the lists of the BSP - is a matter of procedure,", she clarified.

"What I hear and see is that many young faces - the youth leaders on the left will be the leaders of the long lists, including the Sofia lists. This is happening for the first time. A path will be given to the young and the new in the BSP", declared Manolova.
"These lists should also include people with experience. "I am currently taking a step back and to the side, although my strength is in legislative activity, which means that I will not give up supporting the future parliamentary group with expertise and bills," she pointed out.
