The government's management program and the stability of the cabinet were commented on by journalist Ruzha Raicheva and political analyst Boyan Stefanov in “Your Day” on NovaNews.
Management Program
Raicheva believes that the management program contains a very general wish list, in which everything sounds good, but it is not clear, for example, what “innovation centers” mean. She added that another interesting detail is the fight with the administration, which will probably not happen.
“The international position suddenly focuses on the national interest. There is no mention of Ukraine, our Euro-Atlantic affiliation. There is a balancing of the orientation of this government”, the journalist added.
Stefanov said that the priorities are correct and sound logical in the context of the changed global situation. He added that according to “old Bulgarian tradition” we are very good at words.
Stability of the government
"The coalition is more stable than I expected", Raycheva pointed out. In her words, despite hot topics such as the country's budget and entry into the eurozone, the government shows resilience.
Stefanov believes that the fear of new elections makes the coalition stable. However, he stressed that it is important for the country to have a regular cabinet, but the vote on the budget will be a marker of whether the government is sustainable.
