„I have no idea what provoked these words of the president, there is no such hypothesis and there is no such discussion in the Council of Ministers“. Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov said this to journalists in response to a question about whether there is a hypothesis about Bulgaria's participation with peacekeeping forces in Ukraine and for comment on President Rumen Radev's statement on the topic, BTA reports.
Earlier today, the head of state said that as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, he is categorically against Bulgaria sending soldiers to Ukraine in any form.
"I don't see what has changed to comment on such possibilities. No, there is no such hypothesis", Zafirov also told the media.
Atanas Zafirov participated today in the conference on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria.
