And I am now also monitoring the Ukrainian ones, because while I was in Moscow - I did not have access to Ukrainian sources of information. I also get informed through contacts with colleagues who are in Russia and with those who have left the country." He stated this in "Wake up" on Nova TV, the former Bulgarian National Radio correspondent in Moscow, Angel Grigorov, commenting on the question of how he is informed about what is happening in Russia.
In his words, regarding our country's position on the war in Ukraine - Russia views Sofia and the EU as "some puppets of the US". "The official Russian position is that Bulgaria in particular and the European Union in general - are non-sovereign. These are some puppets of the US, who carry out everything ordered by Washington and trump", he explained.
And he added: "Now this construction is not so convincing, considering how US President Donald Trump is currently behaving. But at least while I was in Moscow - Bulgaria was seen as some kind of non-sovereign territory and, together with the EU - entirely dependent on the US. Russian spokesmen were very fond of the term "collective West". This term includes the US and the EU. "And the leading role is, of course, the United States," he emphasized.
