“I don't think there are any upheavals in the coalition. On the contrary, I think they are functioning wonderfully, unfortunately”.
This is how political scientist Hristo Panchugov commented on Darik Radio on the political situation in our country in recent days, after the MRF around Ahmed Dogan gave signals of disagreement with some decisions of the ruling party.
“For example – decides “There are such people“ that “Vazrazhdane” too much enters their territory related to the war in Ukraine, and they make a meaningless and insane declaration that no one asked us for, such as the one about sending Bulgarian troops to Ukraine, and everyone decides that this is a great idea and the declaration is accepted”, commented Panchugov.
As for the fact that the idea came from the head of state Rumen Radev, the political scientist concluded: “Calling this man a head of state is becoming increasingly embarrassing”.
“I think that all these signals that came last week from Dogan's MRF are the result of precisely these fears of theirs, that they may be becoming almost redundant and may not get what they hoped for by entering into collaboration with the ruling party”, commented sociologist Elena Darieva.
According to Panchugov, the behavior of DPS-Dogan showed that during the negotiations to form a cabinet, nothing on the main topics was agreed upon. As an example, he gave the feeling of DPS-Dogan that “they were promised something, and now they are not getting it”.
“At this point, it seems that everyone has shaken hands. This ruling majority should actually hold on at least until some key moments”, said the political scientist.
