The deadline set by the Central Election Commission (CEC) will be met, stated the executive director of "Information Services“ AD Ivaylo Filipov during the hearing in parliament regarding the recalculations assigned to them by the Constitutional Court in connection with constitutional case No. 33/2024 challenging the legality of the elections for the 51st National Assembly.
Filipov indicated that at the moment the team is working and out of over 1,700 protocols, more than 600 protocols have been entered. This gave assurance that the inspection would be completed in the early hours of March 12, so that the deadline set by the CEC would be met, it became clear from his words.
Ivaylo Filipov drew attention to the so-called problematic seven sections. In two of these sections, the Constitutional Court experts recorded zero against those who voted with machines and paper for all political parties and candidates, he announced. He pointed out that in one of the sections all paper voting had been eliminated, i.e. it was zero, and in four other sections machine voting had been completely eliminated. The video surveillance clearly shows that in the transparent ballot boxes in these seven sections there are both machine and paper votes, Filipov noted.
The total number of votes that have disappeared is 780 for all political parties, of which 739 are for the parties represented in parliament plus "Velichye", said the director of "Information Services". Of these, "Velichye" has 32 votes, and 21 votes were not enough for them to enter parliament, "There is such a people" - 35 votes, "DPS-New Beginning" - 242, "Vazrazhdane" - 103, "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" - 13, MECH - 33, GERB-SDS - 134, PP-DB - 92, "BSP-United Left" - 55.
The signal to the prosecutor's office was filed by me, Ivaylo Filipov also stated.
