The Ferrari driver stopped the clock at 1:30.849 minutes on the soft tires.
Red Bull world champion Max Verstappen set the second time, remaining 0.018 seconds behind the Briton, and third - McLaren's representative - Oscar Piastre. He is 0.080 seconds behind Hamilton.
Earlier today, in the only free practice, Lando Norris was ahead of everyone.
Tomorrow at 05:00 in the morning Bulgarian time is the sprint race. 4 hours later is the qualifying for the actual race, which will be on Sunday at 09:00.
