Bulgaria needs not one, but two gunpowder factories in order to reduce the risk, Emilian Gebrev, a long-time arms manufacturer, shared in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio. According to him, "Trojan horses" in our country are preventing the defense sector from being light years ahead.
And why are they not allowing him to build a gunpowder factory, Gebrev replied:
"I don't know, ask this question to the state, the heads of state and the heads of certain political forces. We don't want anything, we want to build an extremely important factory for Bulgaria and the EU with our own funds. If they don't want it, there's no way it won't be built somewhere else, it's a shame that Bulgaria won't have it. I am Bulgarian and I want this factory to be in Bulgaria, but since certain people don't want it, what am I to blame for this?"
And he admitted that he has plans to build a gunpowder factory in another country.
And Boyko Borisov's promise - – "we will plant cotton here", he assessed as "that's commendable".
"Let them plant and when will it happen? It will happen, like other things that were promised and not fulfilled", commented the arms manufacturer.
"It's good that finally the production of such defense products is not a bad word. Now you can ask the population, they are worried about what will happen to our social payments and pensions. And at some point they can get lost, if there is no security, it is the leading one", warned Emilian Gebrev.
He believes that we must first unite here, then go outside, "it is full of Trojan horses in our country":
"It will take 15-20 years and they will see the fruits of this work, which begins today. But without cleansing ourselves and letting the Trojan horses graze, while lies reign, nothing can happen," he added.
