Boyko Borisov: No one left 100 days, and from the first day they want to overthrow the government - 1

GERB leader Boyko Borisov criticized the opposition for trying to attack the government even before the first 100 days of its mandate had passed. His comments came during the European People's Party (EPP) congress in Valencia, where he is discussing Bulgaria's accession to the eurozone with European leaders.

"No one left 100 days, and from the first day they want to overthrow the government," Borisov said, referring to the opposition's criticism of the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet. He stressed that all parties in the ruling coalition have made significant compromises so that the current government can function and pursue its main goal – Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone.

Regarding the criticism from Kiril Petkov, the GERB chairman was categorical: "At least Kiril Petkov can comment on these first 100 days of the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet, because he has left chaos in the country." According to Borisov, instead of talking about the period of 100 days, the ruling party is actually working.

When asked by "Around the World and at Home" whether the support from the DPS-NN does not bring negatives to the ruling party, Borisov replied that the behavior of the formation has been correct so far, since they do not insist on participation in the government, but only support specific policies.

"I heard Mirchev say that there was a wedding. It is so important to me that we enter the eurozone, it is so important to me that Bulgaria gathers these large investments, which currently both American funds and the largest European companies want to come to Bulgaria, so you can pass it on to everyone. Not negatives. There will be a wedding, there will be a baptism, and a cake, and what else is done for children... All of this will be there. But Bulgaria will move forward", the GERB leader was categorical.

He added that the opposition's intention is transparent: "Here, we will stand on the sidelines, we will scold, we will insult and we will call them dependent on "New Beginning"... Only without "New Beginning" you see that there is no majority".
