September won 1:0 as a guest of Loko (Pd) in a match from the 21st round of the First League. Borislav Rupanov scored from a penalty. Angel Lyaskov from the Plovdiv team received a direct red card in the 57th minute. The last minutes of the match were marked by ugly scenes, after Lokomotiv fans hit the match delegate Kiril Lozanov in the face.
In the first minutes of the match, Juan Perea intercepted Angel Lyaskov's cross with his head and sent the ball into the goal post guarded by Dimitar Sheytanov. September responded with an opportunity for Galin Ivanov, who shot inaccurately from a direct free kick.
The hosts created two excellent chances at the end of the first half. Julien Lamy was brought into a good position, but his diagonal shot went wide. Shortly after, the Frenchman received a pass on the edge of the penalty area and shot, but Sheitanov saved.
Three minutes into the second half, Borislav Rupanov from Septemvri scored, but the goal was not correctly counted due to an offside during the build-up to the attack.
In the 56th minute, Angel Lyaskov made a gross mistake. The defender returned the ball poorly to goalkeeper Tomov, who was pressured by Rupanov and lost the ball, and then Clery Serber remained in a clear position and was brought down by Lyaskov. Referee Ventsislav Mitrev awarded a penalty and showed a straight red card to Angel Lyaskov. Rupanov made no mistake from the penalty spot for 1:0 in favor of the guests. Seconds later, Rupanov had another excellent chance, but failed to convert.
In the 74th minute, Juan Perea from Lokomotiv Plovdiv was brought down alone against Sheitanov, but at the last moment Valentine intervened decisively.
In the second minute of added time, the game was stopped to provide emergency medical assistance to a home fan. The ambulance stopped in front of the “Besika“ stand and medics loaded the person in need.
Subsequently, ugly scenes arose, which were caused by fights in front of the sector with Loko Plovdiv fans, after the match delegate Kiril Lozanov insisted that they return to the stands when they were on the field. At that moment, however, the match delegate, who is a former police officer, was punched in the face. The main referee of the match Ventsislav Mitrev was ready to stop the match, but at the personal insistence of Lozanov the match was played to the end.
