The former interior minister of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov, and more precisely the attitude of the White House towards him, is a topic that is currently being dealt with by the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation (SVR RF).
This morning, the state-run TASS and many other agencies published a press release issued by the office. At a time when the failure of the intelligence of the Russian Federation, which did not stop the plan of the Ukrainian army to enter the Kursk and Belgorod regions, is clear, the discussion of the possible successors of the current president fits perfectly as an attempt to divert attention, report activity to the Kremlin and continuation of the information operation to undermine the image of the authorities in Kiev.
According to the SVR, the USA considers Arsen Avakov to be a suitable candidate to replace President Volodymyr Zelensky. It is explained that among the strengths that the Americans see are his strong ties with Ukrainian nationalist organizations and maintained contacts with leaders of countries in Europe.
It is also noted that, according to the White House, this will allow the West to better prepare for the eventual start of negotiations with Russia to resolve the conflict.
In their press release and theses from Russian foreign intelligence today, they continue the plot in the Russian propaganda narrative both about the complete subordination of power in Kiev to the interests of the US and the puppet government, and about the illegitimacy of Volodymyr Zelensky, whose term expired earlier this year. In addition, these theses provide future arguments for the Kremlin to once again reject opportunities for peace negotiations.
In intelligence, they are fully convinced that dissatisfaction with Zelensky is growing in the American elite, both among Republicans and Democrats - mainly because of doubts about the meaning of spending billions of dollars in military aid. Zelensky is taking insane steps, with which he threatens to take the escalation beyond the borders of Ukraine. Intelligence agencies describe the situation in Kursk and Belgorod regions as a frantic search by Zelensky to stabilize his positions of power after the expiration of his powers on May 20 of this year.
In the current situation, Washington is exploring options to replace the Ukrainian leader with a more manageable and less corrupt figure that would satisfy the majority of Western allies. This, the White House believes, according to Russian intelligence, will allow the West to better prepare for the eventual start of negotiations with Russia to resolve the conflict. The Americans include Avakov's strengths as his close ties to Ukrainian nationalist formations and his constant contacts with European leaders.
After analyzing the data received, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service says that the US administration has already instructed non-governmental organizations to develop a scenario for Avakov to come to power in Ukraine.
The issue is already being discussed with the leaders of Ukraine's leading opposition parties Yu. Tymoshenko and P. Poroshenko, as well as a number of influential Verkhovna Rada deputies from the ruling Servant of the People party. In the future, it is planned to launch a powerful information campaign to discredit Zelensky in order to force him to leave his post.
It seems that while Americans are looking for a black cat in a black room - a legitimate, sane politician in the post-Maidan Ukrainian elite, Ukraine is slowly but surely turning into a black hole in Europe. The only real basis for negotiations, repeatedly expressed by Russian President V. Putin, remains unchanged. The rest is up for discussion.
