Ukraine does not report the movement of Belarusian military equipment or personnel near its border, said the spokesman of the border services Andriy Demchenko, quoted by Ukrinform, BTA writes.
„The situation on the border with Belarus remains unchanged. We do not report movement of equipment or personnel of units of the Belarusian army along our border. Also, Russia does not have the necessary deployed forces on the territory of Belarus. In fact, Russia has deployed security and supply units there”, the spokesman said.
Demchenko added that Ukraine continues to monitor the border.
In April of this year, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the country was “preparing for war” but assured that there was no direct danger of conflict for now, Ukrinform recalls.
