Israel carried out two strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanese media reported. This happened after the IDF had earlier warned residents in the area to evacuate due to upcoming military operations, the agencies reported.
"Enemy aviation carried out two raids this morning against the southern suburbs of the capital, in which a residential building in Haret Hreik, located near a mosque and a hospital, was hit,'' Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) said. The strikes preceded a call by Israel for residents of two neighborhoods in the southern suburbs to evacuate in anticipation of an imminent attack on buildings in the area housing Hezbollah sites.
