Russia has no concrete strategic goals on the battlefield until the inauguration of Donald Trump. This was stated by the former company commander of the "Aidar" battalion. and military analyst Yevgeny Dikiy on Ukrainian Radio NV.

He added that the political processes surrounding the end of the war could continue for a long time. The task of the Russians during this period will remain unchanged - the capture of all Ukrainian territory.

"I really like this Western logic. They are somehow sure that the Russian head of state, Vladimir Putin, dreams of starting negotiations with the American president. And so his army has until January 20 to seize "something" to secure a favorable position in these negotiations. For the Russian army, this date is not a deadline. For them, January 20 is an ordinary day in the calendar, in which they have another task - to kill as many Ukrainians as possible and seize as many territories as possible, the analyst points out.

He adds that the Russians have exactly the same task for January 19 or 21. After all, Moscow's strategic objective has not changed in nearly three years of full-scale war.
