Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who chairs the Council of The EU, by the end of December, offered Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky an agreement on a ceasefire during the holidays, as well as a prisoner exchange.
Zelensky's refusal
Despite the offer of peace during Christmas, Zelensky categorically refused the agreement, according to Orbán's statement on the social network “X“.
Orbán's comments
Orbán expressed regret about Zelensky's refusal and emphasized that Hungary has done everything possible to achieve a ceasefire.
