"The most destructive fire in Los Angeles County history is still raging, but the fire chief says there aren't enough firefighters. Maybe it's because she's been laser-focused on DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) for the past few years".

"Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has been out of the country the entire time. Just months ago, she cut off funding to the fire department, and before that, the department's additional equipment was sent to Ukraine. "Even worse, the fire hydrants in Los Angeles are dry. The Los Angeles area had two years of record rainfall, but the rains drained into the ocean. A decade ago, California voted to spend billions of dollars on water storage and reservoirs, and today Gavin Newsom has not completed a single facility," Waters continued.
"Newsom is the ideologue of removing dams to give back some land to the Native Americans and some salmon. These dams could have been a source from which firefighters could draw water for fires. He spends more money on fighting homelessness than he does on fighting fires - both of which are out of control. The state has a drug problem, a homeless crisis, everything is burning, and there is no water. California is run by public servants who cannot serve the public," Jesse Watters concluded.
