21 students from the "Gheorghe Duca" Technical High School in Constanta, Romania were taken to hospital after a classmate sprayed the classroom with pepper spray, the General Inspectorate for Emergencies reported in information also sent to the BTA editorial office.
The so-called red intervention plan has been activated, which includes sending a large number of ambulances and medical personnel to the scene of the incident.
The boy brought the spray to school and wanted to show his classmates how it works. The ninth-grader sprayed the classroom, which was full of students. At that moment, a teacher came in and saw that many of the students had teary eyes and were coughing, so he called 112.
The spray contained chili peppers. The student who used it was detained by the police.
