A Russian military aircraft violated Polish airspace for more than a minute over the eastern part of the Gdansk Bay, dariknews.bg reported.
According to the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces, the Russians stated that the navigation system of the Su-24MR aircraft - a reconnaissance version of the Su-24 supersonic tactical bomber - was damaged.
Russian military aircraft have repeatedly violated European airspace since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
The flight route was immediately changed after the intervention of a navigator from the Russian Armed Forces, the Polish operational command reported.
