At least one person was killed and three were injured in a Russian missile strike, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, reported on "Telegram", BTA reported.
Klitschko said that a fire had broken out on the territory of a company. The deceased and one of the injured, who was hospitalized, are from the Obolonsky district. A nine-year-old girl was also injured in the Obolonsky district and has been hospitalized, and another injured person was treated on the spot in another part of the capital.
Without guarantees of continued US aid, Ukraine is in a difficult situation at a time when the Russian army advances, AFP notes. In recent months, Kiev and Moscow have stepped up attacks on energy infrastructure.

Ukrainian air defenses are trying to repel a sudden Russian ballistic missile attack on Kiev, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital said earlier, quoted by Reuters.
"It's noisy in the capital," Vitali Klitschko wrote on "Telegram". "Air defense units are in action," he added, urging citizens to take cover. Ukraine's air force said Kiev was under ballistic missile attack. Kiev residents reported hearing explosions in the city.
