Russian President Vladimir Putin has held talks with American leader Donald Trump. This is reported by the state agency TASS, with the confirmation of contact between Putin and Trump being the leading news.
The announcement was made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing for journalists.
"A telephone conversation between President Putin and President of the United States Donald Trump has just ended," said Peskov, who also assessed that the conversation was long - lasting almost an hour and a half.
Among the topics of the conversation was an exchange - what kind of exchange Peskov did not specify.
Putin also invited Trump to Moscow and expressed his readiness to receive American representatives, including on the topic of Ukraine.
