Valentin Vatsev: Trump is capable of leaving NATO. He doesn't give a damn about the fate of either Ukraine or Europe - 1

Trump doesn't give a damn about the fate of either Ukraine or Europe. He is capable of leaving NATO. This was said by geopolitical analyst Assoc. Prof. Valentin Vatsev in the "Metronome" program on Radio "Focus".

To make America great again, Trump must reindustrialize it. The exact same mega-task faces Putin, he pointed out.

"They will have to talk about large-scale economic deals and agreements that would be beneficial to both sides. At this stage, Washington realized that this is completely possible and can happen. "The wishes of Putin and Trump can be realized in a calm communication at a high level," Vatsev explained.

According to him, the talks between the Russian and American presidents are not so much about the fate of Ukraine and Europe, but about a mega-deal that can serve the strategic interests of both countries.

"From Russia - all sorts of interesting raw materials and minerals at affordable prices, and from America - technologies for processing these raw materials," the geopolitical analyst added.

The fate of Ukraine is only part of the deal between the two, he believes. It will be divided into three parts. "The first part will become Novorossia. The second part will be a small, neutral and friendly Ukraine with the capital Kiev. Third, Western Ukraine must somehow be controlled and distributed among those interested.

According to Vatsev, Poland will probably be offered the Polish part of Western Ukraine, Romania - Bukovina, and Hungary - Transcarpathia.

"What the Kremlin has planned will happen, and Trump will only benefit from his interaction with the Kremlin," he added.

According to him, the scandal in the White House is being overexposed.

"Zelensky will continue to make attempts to communicate with Washington, and the Kremlin will continue to carefully monitor Zelensky's relations with Trump. But the real development of the Ukrainian war will come in other ways," added Valentin Vatsev.

He pointed out the reasons that led to the clash between the American and Ukrainian presidents.

"Zelensky participated in the election campaigns of the Democrats in Pennsylvania. Such things are not said, but they are remembered, not forgotten and not forgiven. The second reason - during the conversations he allowed himself to mutter an extremely rude phrase in Russian under his breath. This was immediately interpreted as disrespect for the Oval Office. And thirdly, Trump is obliged to hurry in everything," explained Vatsev and added that the American president has no more than three months to make peace, because in his election campaign he made a commitment to a lightning-fast end to the war, which is not happening.
