Twenty-eight fighters loyal to ousted Syrian President Bashar Assad were killed by Syrian security forces in the city of Jableh and neighboring villages in Latakia province, in northwestern Syria.
This was reported by Agence France-Presse, quoted by BTA, citing the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
There were fierce clashes in the province and as a result, the authorities have declared a curfew until 10 a.m. tomorrow morning local time, the Syrian news agency SANA announced.
