The US military has carried out a series of airstrikes against a Houthi military camp in Saada province in northwestern Yemen, the rebel-owned Al Masirah TV channel reported.
According to the media outlet, on Wednesday evening, the US carried out at least 15 airstrikes on various targets in the area of the city of Saada, the administrative center of the region of the same name, including the Kahlan military camp used by the rebels.
In addition, the US military hit a vehicle in one of the districts of Sanaa province. It is not specified who exactly was in the car at the time of the strike.
On March 15, the US, on the orders of President Donald Trump, began carrying out massive strikes against Houthi targets, who control about a third of Yemen's territory. The operation is aimed at protecting American interests and ensuring freedom of navigation, the US Central Command said. In response, the Houthis launched a series of attacks on the US aircraft carrier "Harry Truman" in the northern Red Sea, using missiles and drones. There is no information about damage to the ship as a result of the strikes.
