The demands to hand over Crimea and other territories to Ukraine are absurd, said US President Donald Trump on the social network Truth Social.
This is how he commented on an article in the New York Times by the chief White House correspondent Peter Baker, who wrote on Saturday that the president's actions in the first hundred days of his term are in favor of Moscow.
„No matter what deal I make for Russia and Ukraine, no matter how good it is, even if it's the biggest deal ever made, the New York Times, which is going through difficult times, is going to talk badly about it. Its highly biased and incompetent author, Peter Baker, caved to his publisher's demands and wrote that Ukraine should return its territories, including Crimea, and other ridiculous demands," he wrote.
Trump attacked Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday, saying his comments about Crimea were damaging negotiations with Russia. According to the American leader, the situation in Ukraine is dire and the head of the Kiev regime must either make peace or lose the entire country in three years.
