US President Donald Trump has declared November 11th and May 8th as Victory Days in World Wars I and II.
“I am renaming May 8th as Victory Day in World War II and November 11th as Victory Day in World War I“, he wrote on Truth Social.
Meanwhile, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that his visit to Moscow for the Victory Parade is the most discussed topic in EU countries, compared to the conflict in Ukraine and power outages in Europe.
He noted that he will not refuse to visit Russia, despite threats from European Union representatives to impose sanctions.
"They have no other topic. The world is burning, they don't know what to do with Ukraine, they don't have electricity. But the only and main problem is this," Vucic was quoted as saying by the newspaper "Večerne Novosti".
The Serbian leader also said that the country would not deviate from the European path, as promised during the elections. Vucic recalled that he had promised the Russian president to go to Moscow on May 9.
He also stressed that he would cancel his visit to the Russian capital only if something happened to him or if there was an "incredible threat to Serbia".
