The Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Georgi Tahov will open the 11th National Meeting of Farmers in Bulgaria. The event starts at 3:00 p.m., in the city of Kazanlak and is traditionally organized by the Association of Agricultural Producers in Bulgaria (AAPB).
During the forum, the management of the Ministry of Agriculture, representatives of the European Commission, the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria in Brussels, the World Farmers' Organization and business will discuss the future of agricultural policy in the EU, new opportunities and challenges for agricultural producers in 2025, investment opportunities in the agri-food sector and state aid, changes in direct payments and new risk management tools.
Agricultural producers will be informed on issues of sustainable land use and renewable energy investments, the impact of new EU regulations on agribusiness, as well as current trends in grain markets and adaptation to climate change.
