By decision of July 31, 2024, the Council of Ministers extended by an additional six months the period within which they can premises rented by the CEC are used for the storage of the technical devices for machine voting. To date, however, the CEC has not presented a draft of a rental agreement, which should be secured accordingly.
The Council of Ministers is not a party to the process of negotiating and concluding a rental contract. The government expects such a contract to be submitted and will immediately thereafter issue the necessary acts to secure it.

This is stated in an official release from the government press office in connection with the subject of the storage of the election machines, sent to the media. Here's more from the MC's position:

When adopting the budget plan for the elections, the Council of Ministers declared its readiness to provide the necessary funds when the Central Election Commission concludes contracts for logistics and technical support of specialized devices for electronic machine voting, as well as for other materials and related activities for the provision of machine voting, voting with paper ballots, computerized processing of election voting data and issuance of election results ballot.
