Despite doubts about the fairness of the elections, a cabinet can be formed. This is what he said on the air of the program "Hello, Bulgaria"; the social anthropologist Haralan Alexandrov.
“The problem is not the doubts - they will intensify due to the overall erosion of trust in democracy. The problem is more related to the relations between the parties. They are highly antagonistic. We have a big party – COAT OF ARMS. It is not big enough to form a government, but it is big enough that it cannot do without it. We have two middle parties – PP-DB and “Vazrazhdane”, four cubs and one dwarf. Now it can be seen which parties are interested in forming a government and which - in continuing the opposition, said Haralan Alexandrov.
Political scientist Ruzha Smilova commented that there is fatigue from the elections, and that is why those who can request the counting of votes from a week ago, do not do so.
„Most likely what will happen is an attempt to partially cash out. Votes will be gathered in the parliament to open separate sections, Smilova commented.
„If there is talk of forming a cabinet in such an unclean environment, because there are serious doubts about the legitimacy of the results, it is necessary to bring out data about who profited from these machinations and falsifications,” said Smilova.
A minority cabinet is starting to look like the only possible one, commented Haralan Alexandrov. “The reasons are obvious – PP-DB and “Revival” they want to be opposition. The four small parties remain as potential partners – DPS-New beginning, APS, ITN, BSP. PP or at least Asen Vassilev's position is categorical – will sabotage all attempts to form a government led by GERB. With “Revival” it seems unacceptable, as they want to revise the priorities”, Aleksandrov also said.
Smilova commented that the result of the elections in the USA is probably also being awaited.
