The Bulgarian people were humiliated, Bulgarian national honor and dignity were insulted. Bernard Shaw's play is pretty mediocre. It abounds in flat, but at the same time quite rude jokes with the Bulgarian army. The staging of this play was a provocation by the management of the National Theater. This was explained in the morning block of BNT by the chairman of the "Revival" party. Kostadin Kostadinov on the occasion of the premiere of the production “The Weapons and the Man“ in the National Theater, which caused controversy among some circles in Bulgarian society, quoted by novini.bg.
In his words, a part of the Bulgarian political elite recognized themselves as “insulting the Bulgarian people” and country, as there were politicians who did not object to the performance.
There should be morality in politics, culture and even in the economy, no matter how difficult it is. Whoever wants to humiliate himself should do it at home, not in the building of the National Theater, said Kostadinov and added that the protests in front of the National Theater were “of all free citizens”.
On the subjects of the country's political agenda, Kostadinov confirmed that this time too the party will nominate its own candidate for speaker of the parliament, but his name will become clear on Monday.
The party leader criticized Borisov, who warned yesterday that we will go to new elections if the other parties in the National Assembly do not support the GERB candidate for the post of chairman of the legislative body.
How can a person who has 24.5% in the elections say whether we will go to elections?! It has only 69 deputies – with only one MP more than the previous parliament. I don't understand where he gets this self-confidence from, comments Kostadinov.
„Vazrajdane”, as the largest opposition force in the parliament, can nominate a speaker of the parliament who is neither from GERB nor from the two DPS“, he also said. >
When asked if he could trust the PP-DB, Kostadinov replied that there was no way there could be, because “the people from the PP-DB were sitting on Peevski's lap”.
These people did the impossible to wash away one of the blackest figures in Bulgarian politics, said Kostadinov.
