Andrey Raichev: The hero Borisov has two paths before him, which give him short power and a disgusting result - 1

"The Hero" Borisov has two paths ahead of him, which will give him short power and a disgusting result, sociologist Andrey Raichev commented in an interview for BNR.
"The first is to PP and assembly. We come out of this movie and everyone hates this movie. An assembly or superassembly will have a very bad fate. Yes, they will hold power for a few months, a year, but they will be hated. The other option is an alliance with Mr. Peevski. It's even worse because it's a 2020 movie. The third – hidden path, is to the new elections. The reason he is afraid of this road is his own who are behind."

Borisov calculates that in the spring there will be another, new situation, the sociologist admits.

"There are two reasons: Trump won the elections in America, and most importantly - for him it has been obvious for a year that Radev will appear. If Radev appears, the situation in the country fundamentally changes and normalizes. If Radev turns up, if the predictions of many come true, that it is something like 1,000,000 - 1.5 million votes, that is a normalization in itself."

There is no turning back. Borisov plays forced moves, he added.
Andrei Raichev sees in Vice President Iliyana Yotova's intensified political speech "a plan for her to be president". The sociologist calculates that if President Rumen Radev does not enter the political arena now, it will be too late:

"Two years is a long time. Second – lose the grand gesture. The president has not visited Bulgaria. The other is starting to look like Zhelev and Parvanov, who after coming down went to have parties. He will make a move."

Stability in Bulgaria without the emergence of a strong left is impossible, Raychev is categorical, who likened the election in our country now to "a stool with two legs – center and right".

In the optics of PP-DB, the new assembly is a nightmare, Raychev believes.

"They will not assemble because they will die. What will they tell the electorate? Same dish again? Their rosy dream is that he (Borisov – note ed.) will ally with Peevski and the situation from 2020 will be formed."
The appearance of Radev will have the effect of normalization, similar to Trump in America, Rajchev made an analogy.

In his words, normalization proceeds along 5 main lines – "Covid that went away", the LGBT story, the green story, the story with migrants and Ukraine – "abnormalities that people in Bulgaria do not tolerate".

"At the moment we are an electric motor that cannot turn and at any moment will strike an electric current somewhere. After Trump, it will start spinning. After Radev in Bulgaria, he will start spinning."

If Radev decides not to risk it, the electric motor will continue to emit "dzzzzzzzzzz" and it could explode, the sociologist expressed concern.

The engine has strained and the next election without Radev could inflame the situation, he noted.

From January 1 "Balkan Stream" will be Russia's only gas connection with Europe – Borisov's personal case, Andrey Raichev also said.

"The big sigh of relief is - Trump allowed this."

The question is whether relations between Russia and America will improve, or whether we will see two very strong personalities who are currently paying distant compliments to each other, but this could worsen, commented Raichev, who does not rule out a confrontation, but still thinks that "the chances of peace are increasing".

The sociologist emphasized that "Ukraine does not have any autonomy and if the USA and Europe decide to turn off the tap, it is dead".

According to him, this is not about where the border between Ukraine and Russia will be, but about the West giving Russia certainty that it is not in danger:

"This is the very difficult contract between Russia and the USA in the new world."

The new vice president of the USA, JD Vance, is a very strong player, he is not a spare tire, Raichev also pointed out.

Europe must get used to working harder and living worse. With loans, this work ends like in Greece, he summarized.
