The fifth attempt of the deputies to broadcast the Speaker of the National Assembly was unsuccessful, NOVA reported. None of the candidates received the required number of votes.
The candidacies of Raya Nazaryan from GERB-SDS, Natalia Kiselova from “BSP-United Left”, Petar Petrov from “Vazrazhdane” and Silvi Kirilov from “There is such a people”.
After the 30-minute break, the deputies entered the plenary hall to renew their attempts to vote for the Speaker of the National Assembly. The debates before the break were accompanied by heated arguments, mutual insults and attacks between the various political forces. They continued after the break, BNT reported.
In the fifth consecutive and first vote of the day for Natalia Kiselova, 39 voted, 117 were against. The rest abstained.
For Peter Petrov they voted with "for" 47, against were 133. And 58 abstained.
"For" Raya Nazaryan voted 68. Against were 148.
Your vote "for" Silvi Kirilov 66, against 98.
The nominees from GERB - SDS and from "There is such a people", Raya Nazaryan and Silvi Kirilov, respectively, went to the run-off again, but the two again did not receive the necessary votes.
The next attempt to elect a chairman will be on Monday at 11 a.m.
