Negotiations to form a regular government began on Monday and will continue until the New Year. This was stated in the program “Na Fokus s Lora Krumova” by GERB-SDF MP Rosen Zhelyazkov. “The President showed statesmanship by postponing the handing over of the first mandate after the New Year”, he is categorical.
“The talks will be difficult, lengthy, by sectors and policies. They will be held every day. We will create a common format with the BSP and ITN. On Monday with the DB we will specify when we will create the common format. We are currently working for a majority”, he emphasized. He added that both individual and bilateral talks will be held.
In his words, "this is the possible option in this National Assembly" and he emphasized that for now, the PP remains outside this option due to its unwillingness to sit at the same table with the representatives of GERB.
"If "Democratic Bulgaria" as an independent political entity finds sufficient grounds for the governance of the country and the resolution of problems to be more essential than the short-term political ego of its partners - then we would admire a majority with only "Democratic Bulgaria", BSP and ITN", Zhelyazkov is categorical.
He emphasized that such a majority will "arrive". "We are working to create a majority. We are not looking at quotas, we are not looking at some petty intrigues, because the responsibility is much greater than scheming".
