The mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev sends off an intense, dynamic, but good year, BNR reported.
His charity is inherent, but he refuses to talk about who and what he helps, as it is written in the Gospel of Matthew:
"But when you do a good deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your good deed may remain in secret, and your Father, who sees what you do in secret, will reward you openly".
Since he has been mayor of the capital, he has been donating his salary.
"Yes, but that does not change anything. I have the opportunity, I do it with pleasure", says the mayor of Sofia modestly.
He does not count the good deeds he has done.
"I have not counted them. Every month, the team and I discuss where the donations should be made. So, we will make a more detailed overview of everything after some time, at the end of the mandate" and emphasizes that this is a personal act.
His ambition is to work for the city to become a better place to live. And although it does not always work out, he gives way to his good intentions with heart and soul and rejoices in every success achieved. And his successes in one year are not few, he described them in detail and placed them in a prominent place - on the website of the Sofia Municipality.
"I believe that each of us has a responsibility, if we have the opportunity, to help others, to donate, in order to build a happier and healthier society".
One year in the Sofia City Hall has passed quickly and was intense, he is eagerly awaiting the second year of his mandate, so that some of the projects can be advanced at even greater speed.
