Denkov pointed out six of the adjustments that need to be made in the 2025 Budget to make it achievable

On his Facebook page, former prime minister Nikolay Denkov clearly pointed out six of the adjustments in the 2025 Budget that can and should be made to make it achievable and adequate for people, businesses, and regions:
1. Return of investments in people - maternity, child, minimum wage and many others. In the GERB draft budget, they are completely frozen for the next 4 years.
2.. Adjustment in the salaries of employees in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and services. GERB's draft budget has miscalculated.
3. Keeping the threshold for VAT registration at 166 thousand leva. Lowering the threshold to 100 thousand leva, as set out in the draft budget, will hit small businesses.
4. Correction in the growth of VAT revenues. The 35% currently set by GERB is unattainable.
5. Specific policies and projects in the capital investment program. In the draft budget, it is unclearly planned and unreasonably inflated.
6. Correction in the planned new debt. The draft budget is greatly inflated.
The rulers knew perfectly well what our reaction would be to the absurd “average budget”, in which pensions and money for young families are cut, workers and businesses are burdened, and billions are poured into infrastructure orders and into the security forces without clear justification. For what purpose did they introduce it in this form, so they had to correct it the very next day?, the PP-DB MP asked on the social network.
When we start discussing the necessary corrections in substance, it will become clear how much GERB wants political stability and for us to enter the eurozone. By the way, there are no visible efforts by the rulers to counteract the disgusting propaganda and disinformation on the Russian model against the introduction of the euro.
P.S. To dispel the fog, it would be good for the government to clarify internally what its position is on the fiscal policy inherited from us - is it imprudent, as the Prime Minister announced yesterday, or is it prudent, as the Finance Minister reported in Europe earlier.
It cannot be both at the same time!
