The Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh has terminated by order the tender procedure for the lease of the beach “Ravda – zapad” in the municipality of Nessebar, after the first and second ranked participants refused to conclude a contract for the management of the sea strip.
The reason for the termination is the categorical refusal of the ranked candidates to take over the management of the beach, despite the successful tender.
The tender held in January this year was won by the capital company “Stellar Beach Services”, owned by Julian Andreev. The company had offered an impressive annual rental price of 1,955,979.60 leva including VAT. However, the company subsequently withdrew from concluding a contract, which necessitated the termination of the entire procedure.
A total of five companies participated in the competition for the attractive sea section. In addition to the winner, the Plovdiv-based „ACG Trade" (which was not admitted to the tender), the Stara Zagora-based „Nova Build" and the Sofia-based „Ikat" and „Vector Consulting" applied for the beach in Ravda.
At least for now, three more beaches on the Southern Black Sea coast remain without tenants, for which tenders were scheduled. These are „Vasiliko" in Tsarevo, „Elenite 1" in the municipality of Nessebar and „Pomorie - Bunata". Subsequent open bidding auctions have been announced for these maritime strips, which will be held in May.
