A fourth boycott of large retail chains has been announced for today. Organizers are once again calling for people not to shop and not to pay with bank cards.
Last Thursday, the third boycott of large retail chains had the opposite effect, BNT reported.
It turns out that turnover has increased by over two million leva. On the day of the boycott, 27 million and 400 thousand leva entered the cash registers of the stores, and the day before 25 million and 300 thousand, according to the data of the National Revenue Agency.
So, for the first time since the boycott was organized, the stores are winning instead of losing.
A week earlier, the stores reported a million and 100,000 leva lower turnover, and on the day of the first protest actions, 7 million and 900 thousand leva less.
